Independence Day
July 3, 2008 on 6:36 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsHello to everyone on this day before we celebrate independence here in the USA. I know everyone is going out of town and have there BBQ and spend time with families. Now with the way things are people are thinking twice about travel because of the price of gas and other items going higher. They are taking trips closer to home or not going anywhere. We are just going to stay here and go some where in town were we can see the fireworks and just relax. If i can be so bold as to say i think a lot of people have forgot the true meaning of the 4th of July. The 4th of July is called Independence day. Which means we are free to do a lot of things that maybe other countries cant. What a lot of people don’t remember is it took a lot of brave men and women to fight and some die to give us these freedoms. I think while we are out there eating our hot dogs and apple pie and drinking what ever beverage you choose we should take just a moment maybe to give a silent thank you to the men and women that brought us what we have today because for some, the cost of this freedom was great expense. So have a safe a happy holiday weekend with family and friends. God bless.

— The Best Gift Ever —
A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer’s showroom and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted. As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car.
Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box. Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man’s name embossed in gold.
Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said, “With all your money you give me a Bible?” And stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible. Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things. When he arrived at his father’s house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.
He began to search through his father’s important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. His father had carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11, “And if ye, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?” As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer’s name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words… PAID IN FULL.
How many times do we miss God’s blessing because they are not packaged as we expected? I trust you enjoyed this. Pass it on to others. Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for…
PLS. SEND THIS TO AT LEAST FIVE PEOPLE SO AS TO LET THIS GREAT LESSON FLOW AROUND.

Lesson I learned: (Write here what you’ve learned.
To quote a old saying. Sometimes we judge a book by its cover. We think to much about whats on the outside or if i do this i can get that. But if we would just learn to look inside of people and things and not worry about what we can get but what we can give. Our Lord God will take care of and give us more than we could ever imagine.

The Link Mob
June 30, 2008 on 5:47 pm | In General | No CommentsAs maybe everybody knows, the more inbound links a blog has, greater the chance that blog’s rank (either for Google or Technorati) is more important.
Technorati ranks each and every blog in the world, at least they rank all of the ones they know about. Engadget is currently the world’s #1 blog according to Technorati. The reason that Engadget is #1 is because they have more links from other blogs than any other blog.

You Don’t Mess With the Zohan
June 20, 2008 on 6:13 pm | In Uncategorized | No Comments
Hello to all my friends here in blogger land. It has been a little while since i have put a post here. We have been very busy the last two weeks. We sent a box to the Philippines and had to finish my papers for my 5 year card. Plus doing a lot of over time. We had time to relax last night and we watched don’t mess with Zohan. It was OK but i did not think it was great. I think it just had to many crazy stunts in it. The second part of the movie got better because he was in America and was cutting hair with a little extra in the back room with the ladies. hehehehehe All in all it was worth seeing. Take care all and have a great weekend. It is going to be a hot one here in AZ 115.

June 6, 2008 on 8:18 pm | In page ranking | 4 Commentshi there everybody Friday is here yeah. I hope you all have a great weekend. I have a question for everyone. Is there a easier way to get your page rated at Google? I have been adding posts and linking with everyone and leaving comments. Still no rating yet. I have been doing this about 5 months now. I don’t believe in these ads you see about pay me so much money and i will promise to get you a Google rank of 5 in one week. Sorry i think that is a scam and not going to waste my money on that. So unless somebody has a different way i guess i will keep linking and commenting i enjoy talking with everybody anyway. Have a great weekend all God bless.
