A Daily walk with Bill & Gina

Most of you know about this because you do it. On every Wednesday a lot of bloggers around the globe do what we call wordless Wednesday. It is were instead of writing a post we all put pictures that we have taken on the post for that day instead of writing.  It is a way to keep your site updated when you can think about anything to write about. Well i have just found something that will make it a whole lot easier to do this. It is a site called acobox. It is a place where we can and grab pictures to put on our site. They have numerous pictures. All you have to do is go there it is free to sign up. Then you can take any of the blog pictures that you want and post them to your site. They have many styles all you have to do is look in their galleries and click a topic then find the picture you like and put it to your site. I know i will be going to the place many many times and i am sure their site will become very popular in the eyes of all bloggers.

I just want to take this day and thank all the men and women who have served their country with honor and dignity which i am one of them. Happy Veterans Day.

10 REASONS TO SMILE TODAY AND 7 THINGS I LOVE

Another precious blogger-friend, Bingkee, had sent me this tag “The Smile Stone Award ” an award for bloggers who show kindness and spreading happiness around. Although I really don’t know exactly what is a “smile stone, ” she is a great light in the world of blogging and i am very grateful to have her as a friend.

There are so many things and reasons that make me smile, and  today, here are my top 10.

1) I am smiling because God is always with me and I have faith in His promises.
2) I am smiling because have a beautiful family.
3) I am smiling because God is always good.
4) I am smiling because i live in a state that is mostly warm all year long.
5) I am smiling because i have great health.
6) I am smiling because blogging, has open a new door to many new friends around the world.
7) I am smiling because i get to wake up each day and look at the beauty God has created.
I am smiling because each day God shows me something new about him.
9) I am smiling because I have a great job were i can talk with people all day.
10) I am smiling because i know where i am and i know where i am going.

Has anybody here had one of those pretty embarrassing moments that made you turn 5 shades of red? I have had many of them and had one just the other day. I was working on my car and through on a old pair of my work pants. I started to crawl under the car and my wife said honey you need to change your pants. i told her why i am just working on the car. She told me that i have a very big hole in the seat of my pants and all of nature was showing. Oops time for a new pair. I hate going to the malls and looking around because they are so crowded so we decided to hit the net like we do for just about everything now. I found this really nice site with some nice 5.11 Tactical Pants . I had to click on the picture but they look very nice. They had a lot of pockets to put things in and places where you could hang like hammers or things. What i like about doing shopping like this is you can do it from the comfort of your own home. This companies prices were very reasonable also. i had the wife look at it and she agreed so we decided to get a couple of pairs so i don’t have to have any more shocks.

Wow i cant believe that it is already Thursday. The last couple of months it seems like time is going by so fast now a days. Between going to work and working on my blog site then do a few things around the house when i get home the day is over. Now it is just today and tomorrow and the weekend is here again. This weekend will be more to do because my wife is off and we can spend time together. I think we have a Filipino party to go to on Saturday. Them are always fun and so much food there wow. You can never be on a diet when your there LOL. Maybe Sunday we will go to movie and then maybe go to the park since it is not real hot out now. Do you guys have anything planned for the weekend? Even if you don’t just try and have fun and relax a little that the main thing.

It is Election day here in America and we are going to pick who we think will do the best job of leading us for the next four years. Which ever man wins they have a big job ahead of them. Our economy is going down hill and people are loosing their jobs and homes.  People are having to cut back and become more cost aware of the things they buy and do. If you can find ways to save money it is wise to start doing it.  Like instead of going to see the movies when they first come out maybe wait till they hit the dollar theater and save maybe 20 dollars on a family of 4. Instead of going on a big vacation take little weekend trips like the one we did hiking.  The only thing that was bad about our hiking trip was that i broke my glasses when i slipped on a rock.  When i got home i tried to fix them and they stayed for about a day but the lenses kept falling out. So i decided to go check out the malls and look at the eye glass places. We looked at 4 or 5 places and they all wanted over 250 dollars for a new pair and that is more than i could afford right now. So i decided to check the Internet because i still have my prescription for my glasses. We found this one place called Zenni Optical and they were very reasonable. They had many different styles and since i had my prescription i did not need a eye test.  So i pick out the pair of eyeglasses that i liked and ordered them. I figured i could make my old pair work for a little longer till the new ones came in. The big thing was i saved about half the price of the ones in the mall now i can put that money towards presents for Christmas.
